Invitation to submit an abstract

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for presentation by 13 August 2010 for consideration by the ALCC Scientific Program Committee.

Topics

Abstracts may be submitted via email on any topic relevant to lung cancer or mesothelioma and their multi-disciplinary treatment. All abstracts MUST be accompanied by an abstract submission form, ALCC registration form and payment. Registration payment not received may result in withdrawal from the program. The scientific program committee reserves the right to decline unsuitable topics.

Travel Scholarships

International Travel Scholarships

The Australian Lung Foundation is very pleased to invite applications from Medical, Nursing and Allied Health delegates from Asian Pacific Developing countries for up to five travel scholarships of $US2000 each to present an abstract and attend the 3rd Australian Lung Cancer Conference (ALCC).

These 2010 ALCC/ IASLC Asian-Pacific Lung Cancer Travel Scholarships are kindly supported by the International Society for the Study of Lung Cancer to enable the attendance of developing country delegates from Asia Pacific with preference for trainees and/or younger delegates. 

Preference will be given to first time applicants.

National Travel Scholarships

The Australian Lung Foundation is pleased to announce the opportunity to submit an application for a 2010 travel grant to attend the 3rd Australian Lung Cancer Conference at the Sofitel on Collins, Melbourne 7th – 9th October 2010. Each travel grant will be up to the value of $500.00 and is to be used for expenses incurred in attending the Conference. 

Eligibility & Required Documents:

• Must have an abstract accepted for presentation at the meeting.
• Curriculum vitae (1page)
• Endorsement by Head of Department stating position and that the applicant participated in the work contained in the abstract.

 Recipients of an ALCC travel grant from 2008 are not eligible.
