2nd Australian Lung Cancer Conference 2008
Thursday, 21 August - Sunday, 24 August 2008
Holiday Inn, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland
Registration
On behalf of The Australian Lung Foundation's Lung Cancer Collaborative group, we have had the greatest honour in inviting you to attend the 2nd Australian Lung Cancer Conference.
This follows on the success of the inaugural 2006 meeting which was over-subscribed. Again we will be limiting delegate numbers in order to maximise face-to-face participation and interaction: please join us in this unique scientific and educational experience.
This conference will be a superb opportunity for lung cancer professionals to share the most up-to-date research on science and treatment advances. Lung cancer specialists from a wide range of disciplines will participate in the scientific program with the latest basic science and clinical data. Leading national and international lung cancer clinicians and researchers will contribute to the program, together with special workshops (medical and nursing), case-of-the-year presentations, and conjoint meeting of the Australasian Lung cancer Trials Group (ALTG). Topics will range from the renowned PBAC model to the latest evidence based treatments and discoveries.
The conference will be complimented by the annual performance of the highly acclaimed Australian Doctors Orchestra (ADO). The ADO is a national association of doctors and medical students with a passion for music who gather once a year to play together. This year the ADO will give a public performance to support The Australian Lung Foundation in raising funds for lung cancer research. We do hope that you will attend the concert on Sunday, 24 August at Bond University. For more information on the ADO please visit www.ado.net.au.
We look forward to seeing you there, and urge you to register early to avoid disappointment.
